Back on track

Clothes inspire me. Want to make more cushions out of old jeans. The beeds make for great decoration both on your jeans as well as on the right type of furniture.

Summer for me has been celebrated on the westcoast of Sweden in Varberg or in Skåne where my love lives and by the mediterranean in Sitges and  Barcelona. Offcourse in Stockholm aswell as outside of Uppsala where my friends have renovated an old school house. Summer is a state of mind.

Lamp love

Fell in love with this to me extremely esthetic floor lamp.It talked to my boyish sense at the same time as my contstructive mind. It was love at first sight. 

Designed by Freshwest for Moooi I saw it first time when it was exhibited at the Milan fair and decided right away that first chance to shoot this beauty I would - and so I did together with photographer Joachim Belaieff and stylist Rafi Sady. Really like the simple sculptural set we choose. Do you ?

The lamp is called Brave New World which is also a novel written in 1931 by Aldox Huxley anticipating developments in reproductive technology and sleeplearning... Hmm... Yes... - do read more about it at Wikipedia

Living Etc  is one of my favorite interior magazines in the world. This stylish Cornish home is one of many inspirational homes they show every month and don´t miss Living Etc online from where I found this summer house with the perfect mix of white and wood.

The shape of things

When I saw the lamp above at the archives of the lamp factory in Karlskrona(eastcoast of Sweden) that I wrote about previously on the blog, I instantly fell for the shape of the lamp shade. From this lamp shade I have created a start of a new design. This sketch is the very first  one and the design will definitely change from this, but I feel confident about the basic structure. Just like my Soomkai lamp I write about it here on the blog first. Now the process starts in finding the best way of creating the lamp begins.
