Dreamy warehouse

I have so many times dreamed of moving into an old factory, or to convert a warehouse into my dream home. Some people stop dreaming and act like the couple that you can read about in Living Etc online. They turned an old warehouse into their personal sanctuary.
Just love the old worn down brick and the super high ceilings and the HUGE rooms.
Could not get more dreamy. What do you think?

Circle of life

This is how I see Skåne where I now live. It´s a big difference to living in the center of Stockholm.

Stockholm-Skåne

Stockholm city night at Sergels Torg

I have lived in Stockholm for over 20 years and have meanwhile worked&studied in Norway, Finland, Germany, Denmark and the United States,  mostly in bigger cities.

Spent the last couple of days in Stockholm and landed today back in Skåne, Sweden where I now live.

Black beauty

Danish company VIPP has transformed the success of the powder coated stainless steel products into a kitchen island in black or white in the same timeless design as their pedal bins.
Must say I like it a lot.

Winterwood

Do enjoy the new ways of using wood in interiors. The updated chalet is to my liking.

Plywood or teak for that matter or a light wood on both walls and ceiling creates a very warm interior. Find more on Living Etc online
I´m in the mood to go skiing now.

With this I bid you a great weekend my Dears

Book a book

Have for long time been meaning to get the Swedish stylist Hans Blomquist book The Natural Home. I will do it now (amazon.com is so fast!).

Seen so many pictures from it that I really enjoy. The Natural Home came out earlier this year and for me Hans pictures photographed by Debi Treloar are little works of art. Hans is represented by Agent Bauer and has directed and styled books for Ikea, but this book is his own from cover to cover. Thank you Hans!

GORGEOUS GREEN GYM

OF ALL THE GYM´S I HAVE BEEN TO THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL OF THEM ALL.

WHY DO GYM´S ALWAYS MAKE U FEEL LIKE YOU ARE WAITING AT THE DENTIST OR MADE THE WRONG TURN AND ENDED UP AT THE HOSPITAL ?

LOVE THIS GYM. THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU LAY DOWN AND SEE THE GREEN LEAVES IS AMAZING. THINK I WILL BUILD MY OWN SOON.

If you follow the link Sköna Hem på nätet you will see a web version of my Studio KAT BAN 61 that is featured rigth now Swedish interior mag Sköna Hem September.

Must say I like the black worn double doors that made the bedroom possible to be so smart&small. Love sharing my ideas!

All well for now

Malmö&Copenhagen

Gillade klänningarna i papper av Veronica Hodges i Köpenhamn.
Like the dresses made from paper by Veronica Hodges in Copenhagen.

Like the big black travel box turned into sofa table.  Ilva

Buttons UP
Buttons on HAY pillows and buttons on sofas and colorful chairs at Ilva.

Love the bridge that connects Malmö&Copenhagen. It makes it all so possible and easy. Went around in both Malmö&Copenhagen in search of news. Two countries to check out in one day is lovely.

Flower power

The sunflowers are now perfect and ready to pick. Flowers in any space and of all kinds, will automatically, always like any plant make a room LIVE.

The power of flowers and plants is not to be underestimated in creating your home.

Wicked wicker

Perfume by John Varvatos is the bottle that you do not have to hide behind the others in the bathroom. Nice for us with open shelves.

Yep, the perfume I did like to. Have a sniff yourself and tell me what you think.

Lab glass

  Photo shot by www.permagnuspersson.com

The simplest of vases

The lab glass has been a keen interest of mine since my school period,
when we had chemistry classes - which I did not like so much - but I did like the lab and measuring glasses.

Found a new one(for me) at a Second-hand/Thrift shop this weekend.
Just can not have to many of these around.

Sköna hem September

I Sköna Hem som är ute nu är min förra Studio med som reportage. Läs om hur jag byggde om lägenheten enkelt, för att få plats med allt på 35 kvm.

In the Swedish interior mag Sköna Hem is a coverage from my former Studio.

Agape in Paris

Agape is recycling the 70s design by Angelo Mangiarotti in a marble column made to make your bathroom into a place fit for gods.

Makes me think where to install it. Preferably this week if possible.

Jokes aside, it´s presented right now at Maison&Objet in Paris.

With this I bid you a great weekend my Dears.

Desktop delight

 Pennholder.

Concrete meets brass, copper and oak in the most delightful way in my opinion in Tatsuya Akita´s desktop line for Brittish Plant&Moss

The state of things now

Instruments always owns beauty. A guitar in the shelf or a trombone on the wall.
A black&white organ can be lovely.

Love this very simple linen bag we made for our JS HEM suede cushions. Should make it to sell since everyone that lay their eyes on it wants one.

Bookprints on everything from curtains to pillows and off course wallpaper still feels right.

Simple sketches where you least expect it. Why not on your wardrobe or in a corner of your ceiling half down your wall. In a teacup is lovely :)

All out on display against grey or black is the way to go. Anti-minimal.
Show it all, like this Linum display showcasing our Soomkai ceiling lamp.

This is the state of things right now.
