Sköna hem September

 I Sköna Hem som är ute nu är min förra Studio med som reportage. Läs om hur jag byggde om lägenheten enkelt, för att få plats med allt på 35 kvm.

In the Swedish interior mag Sköna Hem is a coverage from my former Studio.

Den slitna brädan jag hittade i vattenbrynet blev en så vacker hylla med enkla konsoller. 

Älskar att se det oväntade på väggarna, som min urtavla i plåt från en gammal engelsk kyrka.Urtavlan som är TUNG,  krävde bra skruv och plugg för att hänga kvar...

Agape in Paris

Agape is recycling the 70s design by Angelo Mangiarotti in a marble column made to make your bathroom into a place fit for gods. 

 

Makes me think where to install it. Preferably this week if possible. 


Jokes aside, it´s presented right now at Maison&Objet in Paris.

Desktop delight

 Pennholder.

Concrete meets brass, copper and oak in the most delightful way in my opinion in Tatsuya Akita´s desktop line for Brittish Plant&Moss

The state of things now

Instruments always owns beauty. A guitar in the shelf or a trombone on the wall. 

A black&white organ can be lovely.

Love this very simple linen bag we made for our JS HEM suede cushions. Should make it to sell since everyone that lay their eyes on it wants one. 

Bookprints on everything from curtains to pillows and off course wallpaper still feels right. 

Simple sketches where you least expect it. Why not on your wardrobe or in a corner of your ceiling half down your wall. In a teacup is lovely :) 

All out on display against grey or black is the way to go. Anti-minimal. 
Show it all, like this Linum display showcasing our Soomkai ceiling lamp.

Soft as suede

Have you felt suede ? Let your hand or your cheek feel the quality?

The sense of softness it gives your fingers as you let your hand move over the suede, that we make our cushions from. 

If you have not felt it, try it !

Like cotton there is a variety of  qualities, and the bigger the pore of the suede the more coarse the quality. 

Our suede is fine and dense and feels amazingly soft. This is how Francisco felt laying down on the suede pillow.

Ylva Skarp

 Snygg stol på Formex som jag blev kär i men ej minns var den fanns.

 
Visst är mattan vacker! Snyggaste platsmattan någonsin i min mening. Ylvs Skarp´s snygga matta är jag så glad tala om att den är i produktion. Ylva har haft mattan i sin monter de gånger vi ställt ut på Formex gemensamt och nu sist på Formex i Aug berättade hon att den nu finns att få tag i. Ylva har även designat en linje som finns på Åhléns.
