For me Orlando first and foremost is the city in Florida where I arrived for the first time over 30 years ago. As a close second I must say it was the film based on Virginia Wolf´s Orlando A Biography that exceptional Tilda Swinton played the lead in. Se more of Virgina Wolf on the bottom of the post.

Third place in this Orlando quest is the modular seating by designduo Karl Glismand & Tonny Rüdiger for Danish giant Bolia.com 2004 that I fell for and incorporated in my own studio entresol apartment at Södermannagatan 10 at Södermalm, Stockholm 10 years ago and still think looks great.
16 years later Orlando is introduced as a outdoor sofa. With a frame of aluminium - to prevent rost - its just as comfortable as it is elegant, thanks do a soft foam called Pantera and the fabric Leaf, in grey nuances designed specifically for this model. The Orlando outdoor sofa is waterproof and dries in a couple of hours.
