Fishermans flags

The fisherman type of simple flags made from a bamboo stick and a piece of colorful textile is a nice deco piece in the right interior or in the garden. Found these at the fishing camp in Biarritz.

Love the rocky formations right on the beach in Biarritz.

Adore the simple bench made from stones and cement along with the natural rock

On the road

First day of driving we made it to Aachen in Germany after 10 hours of driving and some stops on the way to eat and also to take Terry our bordercollie for a walk. A lot of driving on fast roads and in boring weather. We stopped at to sleep at a highway hotel. The next morning aproaching France, the weather was warmer and the sun was shining when we drove by Paris.

Churches  inspire me. Stops for churches big and small is always welcome. This one in Reims, France we saw across from the park while eating lunch in the sun and taking a walk with Terry.

And then we drove and drove and drove...

We drove like mad men almost until midnight and then went to sleep in a comfy bed and woke up the next day in warm and sunny Biarritz.

I can never have enough of the ocean. It is pure inspiration to me. When combined with a city of beauty like Biarritz it´s to love.
I look at bridges and cement walls and stairs and the blend of architechture. I could definitely live here.

Homeoffice makeover

Since the kitchen was moved to the living room area we won a guest room downstairs. Therefore the upstairs bedroom could become the  home office that we needed. The bunk beds were removed and a wodden floor was added. Otherwise just paint more or less. The grey around the windows in the same tone as the floor is a added bonus. Never liked the window particularly but they were new and it would be to expensive to change all the windows. So...the  painted grey moulding made me accept them.

A wodden and metall office chair I found in a container in Varberg, of all places was perfect for the office (scroll back in time in the blog to see when I found it) It is  my ONLY container find EVER. Therefore I love it. The table is from JS HEM collection so are the pillows in the bag on the floor. I should sell those linen bags my talanted mother made for the pillows to be carried around when they are borrowed from the PR agent.

It´s very often the little things, don´t you think ?
